Day 2 - Kandy/Nuwara Eliya

Next, drive to Nuwara Eliya, stopping off at the Bhaktha Hanuman Temple en route. Admire the 5-meter granite statue of Rama's devoted supporter Hanuman before visiting Ramboda Waterfall. Explore a tea plantation and factory, then arrive in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3 - Nuwara Eliya

On Day 3, have breakfast at your hotel then visit Gayathri Peedam, he first and most important temple built for Gayatri Amman (Gayatri being an aspect of Saraswati and the Universal Mother) in Sri Lanka. Continue to the Diurumpola Temple where Seetha Devi underwent the "Agni Pariksha" test to prove her chastity. Proceed to Seetha Eliya and visit Seetha Amman temple, believed to be the place where Seeta lived most of the time of her time in captivity. Afterward, visit Ashok Vatika. According to the historical Legend of Ramayana, Seeta was kept in this garden as she refused to stay in Ravana's magnificent palace. See a rock on which Seeta used to sit and meditate, before returning to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4 - Ella/Katharagama

Head to Ella to admire the Rawana Waterfalls and Rawana Cave. Continue to the Kataragama Temple — dedicated to the god Kataragama from the Ramayana legend. Spend overnight at a hotel in Kataragama.

Begin Day 5 with breakfast, then drive to Ussangod, the place where, according to Ramayana legend, King Rawana’s airport was constructed and his big peacock-shaped aircraft landed.
